How to Conduct a Mid-Year Check In

Smile sheet feedback-3709752_1920

Last December, I took myself on a retreat and reflected on the year.

It was an insightful exercise! Waiting until the end of the year to do it, however, didn’t give me the opportunity to make adjustments in the second half of the year.

This year I’m conducting a mid-year review. It’s not too late to make shifts now if something feels off course for the remainder of the year.

Here are 10 questions I’m using to keep me on track this year:

  • What am I most proud of so far this year?
  • What have I achieved/accomplished to date?
  • What is working really well?
  • What is not working so well?
  • Where have I grown or stretched?
  • What has brought me joy?
  • What have I learned?
  • What do I want to achieve in the remainder of the year?
  • What will I do more of, less of, or let go of that will support me?
  • Based on all of this, what am I willing to do differently between now and December?

Feel free to use these to guide your own mid-year review!
